Processing Records (E-mail)

In the E-mail records to field, enter the e-mail address of the person
to whom you want to deliver the record(s). Use a comma (,) and a space to separate multiple addresses.

In the Return e-mail (optional) field, enter a valid e-mail address.
This address will appear in the From field in the recipient's e-mail.

In the Notes (optional) field, enter a note to add to the top of the
e-mail message (up to 250 characters).

Select an E-mail style: In most cases, you can select Plain Text or
HTML. Records in both formats include two-character field tags.
- Click Send E-mail to deliver the records to the specified e-mail address(s).
For the
Web of Science Citation Report, you can select HTML or Comma Delimited
(CSV).
The Plain
Text and HTML options are not available for compounds found in Derwent Innovations
Index.
Processing Records (Save
to File)
The system is currently processing your records. Depending on the number of
records, this may take a few moments.

Click Save (Internet Explorer) or OK (Firefox) to open another
dialog box.

Save the file to your hard drive or to your desktop.
The product automatically saves the file as savedrecs. You can rename
the file, but do not change the extension. The extension depends on the data format
you selected from the Results or Full Record page. For example, if you select
HTML, then the file is called savedrecs.html.
Processing Records (Save to EndNote, RefMan, ProCite)
The system is currently processing your records. Depending on the number of
records, this may take a few moments.
If you have installed EndNote, ProCite, or Reference Manager
on your computer, then:

After you click the Save to EndNote, RefMan, ProCite button, the system
launches a dialog box.

If you have installed more than one reference program, then you will be prompted to select a program before you can select a reference library.
- Open a reference library when the Select a Reference Library dialog box appears. As soon as you do this, the records are exported.
ISI ResearchSoft - Export Helper Plug-in
When you install one of our reference programs such as EndNote, ProCite,
and Reference Manager, the system automatically installs the ISI ResearchSoft
- Export Helper plug-in. The plug-in opens a dialog window on the Processing Records
page that allows you to select a reference program (if more than one is installed)
and a reference library.

Click here to download the Export Helper plug-in if
you do not already have it installed.

To remove the Export Helper plug-in, select the Add or Remove Programs
option in Control Panel.
Processing Records (Save to other Reference Software)
This option allows you to export selected records to third-party reference
software such as RefWorks, Sente, Biblioscape, or similar reference software.

From the Results or Full Record page, select Save to other Reference Software,
and then click Save to go to the Processing Records page. A dialog box
will open.

Save the file to your hard drive or to your desktop. The product automatically
saves the file as savedrecs.txt.

Open your reference software.

Select the Import option.

Select ISI (Institute for Scientific Information) for the Import Filter
/ Data Source.

Select a database.
-
Select a folder (Optional).

Select the savedrecs.txt file that you saved to your hard drive or to
your desktop.

Click the Import button.
You can also import the savedrecs.txt file to EndNote, ProCite, or Reference
Manager.
These
instructions may not work as described if the ISI ResearchSoft - Export Helper
plug-in is installed on your computer. If it is, you may want to use Add or Remove Programs
in Control Panel to remove it.
Processing Records (Save
to EndNote Web)
The system is currently processing your records. Depending on the number of records,
this may take a few moments.
The selected records are automatically sent to your library in EndNote Web.
After the records are processed and transferred, click Back to Results
to return to the Results or Full Record page.
To view the records in your EndNote Web library, click the My EndNote
Web link at the top of any ISI Web of Knowledge page. Alternatively,
click the
icon to go to your EndNote Web library.
To access
EndNote Web you must be a registered user and you must sign in.
For an
All Databases search, you will not see the
icon on the Results or Full Record pages.
