My Journal List

If your institution subscribes to Current Contents Connect, you may use the My Journal List feature to create and maintain a list of journals that you frequently read. You can also use this list to create and maintain Table of Contents e-mail alerts.


My Selected Journals

Journal Name

Each title on the list is linked to the table of contents of the most recent issue.

RSS Feed

To set up an RSS feed:

  1. Click the XML button. A new page with journal data encoded in XML will appear.

  2. Copy the URL that appears in your browser's address bar into your RSS reader or aggregator.

Your RSS reader will automatically notify you when a new issue has been added to Current Contents Connect. You do not need to renew the alert in order to continue to receive RSS feeds.

To cancel the RSS feed, use your RSS reader.

Alerting

This column shows the status of the e-mail alert.

If the status is Off, and you wish to turn it on, click Modify Settings. Then select the Send Me Table of Contents E-mail Alert check box of a journal title.

If the status is On, the expiration date displays. Click the Renew button to renew the alert for one year beyond the displayed date.


My Journal List - Add Journals

Click the Add Journals button to go to the Add Journals page.

  1. Find the title(s) you want to add by using one of three methods:

    Search Full Journal Titles Enter a word or truncated word (for example, pharmac*) in the field, and then click Find.
    Select Journals Alphabetically Click the first letter of the journal title you want to find.

    Browse Journal Titles by Subject

    Select a Current Contents edition from the list, and then click Go.

    Click the name of a subject category to see a list of journals in that category.


  2. For each title you want to add to your journal list, select either or both of these options:

    The title(s) you select will appear on the ISI Web of Knowledge home page whenever you log on.

    Send Me Table of Contents E-mail Alert

    The tables of contents of the title(s) you select will be sent to the e-mail address you specify on the Modify Settings page as soon as they become available.

    This option may not be available at your institution. If it is not, contact your System Administrator for more information.


  4. Click Submit Selections.

My Journal List - Modify Settings

Click the Modify Settings button to go to the Modify Settings page.

To apply a setting to a journal title, select the check box in the appropriate column, and then click Submit Changes button.

To remove a setting, clear the check box, and then click Submit Changes button.

The title(s) you select will appear on the ISI Web of Knowledge home page whenever you log on

Send Me Table of Contents E-mail Alert

The table(s) of contents of the title(s) you select will be sent to the e-mail address you specify on the Modify Settings page as soon as they become available.

This option may not be available at your institution. If it is not, contact your System Administrator for more information.

Table of Contents Alert Settings

Specify the e-mail address to receive the e-mail (the default is your sign-in e-mail address) and an e-mail format. The two formats are Plain Text (an ASCII text file) and HTML. Use semicolons (;) to separate multiple addresses.

Remove from List

Remove the title from the My Journals List page.

Note If you remove a title from the ISI Web of Knowledge home page or cancel the e-mail alert, the title remains on My Journal List unless you select the Remove from list check box.

Reminder - Register and Sign In

To view your journal list, you must be a registered user and you must sign in.
